Each Touch Tear
MicroAssay System™ includes a M9E Reflectance
Photometer, Non-thermal Printer, Printer Cable, Power Cord,
Instruction Manual, Calibration Card, Installation Package, and
Certification.
The computerized, multichannel spectrophotometer "reads" the Test Cards from the various kits. The System is designed to be easily operated by a non-technical person. The M9E displays prompts on an illuminated LCD screen to guide the operator during sample testing. The software has many programmed fail-safe features which trigger System Status Lights and warning prompts when proper operation sequences are not followed.
A separate printer provides a permanent, non-thermal printout of the test result. If desired, a special short-cut key allows the practice to instantly duplicate the report for the patient. The System printout formats include: a DBASE, AUDIT TRAIL, and PATIENT report. Included in the AUDIT TRAIL and PATIENT report printouts is identification of the practice, the patient, the attending physician, and the technician. The AUDIT TRAIL permits the office to print a permanent, serial record of system activity for Quality Assurance.
